I don't think he'd dispute the fact that he's a cunt but I'm pretty sure you'd disagree if we said you were one (which you really appear to be)

im pretty gutted due to the fact i have had some of the best nights of my life in there, and i will remember them forever. GC1 was compared to the republic, the place lost its character after the refurb.

hopefully simon raine (the boss) will use this as an opportunity to re-invent the gatecrasher brand and take it back to its former glory... but i aint holding my breath.

Sorry - my words were a little harsh - I was just in one of those moods.

I was just slightly irritated that this place that holds so many special memories, and what has just happened to it, is seen by some as a happy event. I've never been keen on people seemingly finding delight in misfortune.

What a fearful thing is it that any language should have a word expressive of the pleasure which men feel at the calamities of others; for the existence of the word bears testimony to the existence of the thing. And yet in more than one such a word is found.

I wonder if they did this so they could buy the Dome nightclub in Birmingham. :stongue:

I think Fat boy Raine was short a few quid and decide to a good old fashoned insurance job in the end.
