that's where it's tricky. As "rape" in those cases can techncially be construed from a legitimate relationship if parents or someone else (or even the girl) finds out about it. The only problem would be what to do to legitimately punish abusers/rapists. Maybe We could buy some of Guantanamo & send the bastards there. |

Not once did I say that they should be set free. Not once did I say that they shouldn't be locked away or euthanized. So what's the solution you've been ceaselessly crying for? Well I don't know. It's not my job to "fix" the world. People need to "fix" themselves and "fix" social issues before deeply-seeded human perversions which have existed in man and in nature for as long as we have ever known can begin to be "fixed". Your solutions seem to be working pretty well though. I mean, what with all this hangin' we got goin' on, there ain't a single pedophile left in the whole wide world! |

you kinda contradict yourself. you say that we need to fix ourselves yet a deranged person cant fix themself. how is that fixed? by eliminating it. how you go about eliminating the problem is up to you but it must be eliminated if it is something that is harmful to more than just oneself. unlike drugs and alcohol this is something that is harmful to more than oneself. |

Although your tone is insolent, you still arent saying anything that anyone looking at the situation couldnt say.
"this is messed up someone should do something about this. Oh, and also, they should change the world, humans, and the system that humans operate in. We should make it perfect. Why am I the only one seeing this?!?!?!?!"

Well that was sort of the point in the contradiction - I was being ironic to illustrate the fact that there's really no stopping this sort of insanity - or any human insanity, for that matter - short of complete elimination. But if you're going to vie for that, where do you draw the line? (that's a rhetorical question) |
