Actually, they got competition from Websterhall. LOL. Damn, theres like only one large space venus open and its Pacha. Stereo could have been HUGE this summer but that went to even before it had a chance to become something.

The doods from stereo need to come down and make the exact replica of Stereo montreal, and people will never wanna leave the place. Just set up cot.
I am kinda pissed that the place went downhill. Went once and had a great time, went another time with one of their STAFF and had to wait in line for entirely too long and left. thats dumb. lol

Cost too much money and in the end, the profits wouldnt make up to help keep the place going consistently. Problem with most places in NYC is Space. Hard to find good large spaces for reasonable price, not to mention have it pack out just enough to collect money to start putting back into the investment. Club Tresor in Berlin which just opened up, is the most undeground piece of filthy u have ever seen. But in the end, it will make its money cause it will be packed and the overhead is nowhere near as close as any venue in NYC. Dont get me wrong, this club is SICKK, but from a financial point of view, it cost nothing close to what ure Pacha/Crobar would run u today.
Opening night at Modem, Berlin w/Sven Vath

quick, if there were more clubs like Tresor in NYC, Id start going out again.

I knew that once Crobar closed that entire place was just gonna start goin downhill from there......and mansion better not be more "hip-hop" based cause theres already enough clubs in nyc that play that .

Thanks to Made and Core, frequency, and all the other local promototers, and Rebel, Cielo, Sully, Love, etc. I dont think it will be missed, for those of you who been to mansion, with the 10 ft dance floor, and tables all around, there is nothing to look forward to...anyways, i really enjoyed the last ferry resiency party at Crobvar, and Armin was awesome, The Tyas party was done real well, and i had good times there, but EDM might be better suited for other venues, and Tiesto at hammerstein maybe just the start

you are def right with all of that. I knew when I heard stereo was going up that it was going to be a difficult feat. Anyone who as has been to Stereo montreal, tho, knows that it is a great club with great concepts, and if NYC wasn't so ing expensive and competitive, it would be a success.
as per crobar: I really wish Made would have stayed (went back?) there. There is way more room, thus more room for more people, the staff was better, and I loved the reed room to escape once in a while. I am still not hooked on Pacha for big DJ's, it just doesn't have the same capacity or vibe AT ALL.
