I agree.
TFST was awesome.
of all the clubs that have closed in nyc in the last few years, I was most sad to see vinyl / arc go. :(

And Twilo;( idk, I have mixed feelings about Studio closing, if for no other reason than to avoid a superclub monopoly of sorts (just Pacha and Webster Hallnow, for trance?; and I no longer feel like going back to Webster again, nor am I so enamored with Pacha, as it is). I really hope that Mansion will not be hip-hop geared, for if it is, I may just have to aviod it on priciple, so as not to have another Club T-NY experience:rolleyes: I would be real happy to see Rebel compensate for the currently lukewarm New York state of trance (pun intended)since I do like the space...and I have to make up for not being at Liebing either:( In any case, like Sot, I am also trying to aviod the bigger spaces these days, but, unfortunately, they are the only ones that can really adequately accomodate the likes of Ferry and Armin (speaking of Arc, incidentally, that special Wednesday party he had there, was such a great night!), not Sully, Love (my current truly favorite two, for trance events) Shelter, or Rebel. |

Its much more worse in Washington D.C. since we lost are one and only superclub known as Nation and the night scene has crumbled do to Nation clsing since they brought everyone who was non-trance except for Paul Van Dyk (Due to FUR staff being asshoels) So what we have left is a wanna-be superclub called FUR which attracts many there to be seen. Music seems not be improtant down since theres not much dancing going on. Theres smaller spot but its full douche-bags. Its only FIVE and the 9:30 club as great smaller clubs. |

and we were so lucky to have even been part of those special times...:tongue2 Tae's sets are unique and I thoroughly enjoy them...not to mention all the TAs who attended totally bonded at those events like no other...I was sad to see the TFST/Seho/Fuzion residency end...but CoreEvents/LOVE/SunnysideUP is starting to have that feel once again...and we also get to be exposed to more local djs. I'm so glad about that.

yes i heard Rebel is a good venue. I myself can't wait to check that place out. it def has potential and I would love to see it bring in quality acts while still keeping somewhat of an underground feel and pull in the right crowd. think thats possible?
currently i think LOVE is the *best* venue. <3 |

| This isnt even the Official closing party, there is another party there on July 1st which is "officially" the closing party. Check the rhythmism boards ;) |

| Well this is the official closing party, but there is a party the night after, which is the Body & Soul party, which of course is gunna promote itself as a closing party to bring more people, but you can just call a spade a spade. |
