ah right, here we go...
.... sorry its took me soo long to get back, but ive been in sheffield till now without a computer.
well, all in all was a quality night spent with quality peeple, it wasnt as busy as i thought it would be, but thats a good thing, cos theres nothing worse than an overcrowded event.
For me the best set of the night is 'definately' scot p (sorry lame joke), closely followed by picotto, i thought picotto was absolutley outstanding. Every single tune that mauro played was incredible, every break in everytune was closely followed by a "ING HELL" from me and my mate Ste. Then up next was scot project, he pretty much lived up to expectations AGAIN, as soon as he played the Derb mix of 'Trance and Acid' i knew id be in for a rough ride (from there), i couldnt beleive that trance and acid was actually being played LIVE over the NEC system, me head just couldnt take it in. Slightly disappointed about second trip not being played last (or at all) as this usually completes the night.
Ravemonkey - was great finally meeting you, i was a bit unsure about meeting you because all our convo's on here so far having been arguing about scot project so i didnt think we'd get along, but i was wrong, your a ing sound guy, and i was gutted about not spending sir Scot's set wiv yoo, maybe next time brucey. ;)
jeff, fray, nita, spad, jase - well, i saw you about as much as what i do normally at the republic, bugger!, never mind, was great seeing your faces again, see you at Signum ythis weekend?.... hope so, take care all a y'all!
calla 2xlc - now.... your a strange fella!! :stongue: :stongue: . we met in rather weird circumstances, i just rang you to see if you were gonna be on time sorta thing, and there you were stood outside the pub complet with muscle top. From the first minute i thought you were a sound guy and i knew we'd have no problems getting along. glad i finally met you cos we never realy spoke much on here yet so i guess things will change now.
LoginZ - reading through this thread , i take it that that pill i gave you did the trick!!! lol, sorry i couldnt give you any more. it was a real pleasure meeting you, you are such an amazing nice bloke always wearing a smile, and your girlfriend and her brother were really cool too. I was talking to your girlfriend for about 20 minutes and she's really great, you make a lovely couple, i hope to see you both real soon.
proxi - im really gutted that i didnt spend more time with you, i was looking forward to meeting you the most. id really like to meet you again somtime, because you seem like a really nice person, oh, and you've got a gorgeous little cheeky smile!! im glad you had a good time, and its good to see that all that work finally paid off, see you soon. :)
Ste - ayup you liddle -up!!, how are ya?..... again, gutted i didnt really see you much, its been a long time and you havnt changed a bit, you little gay:stongue: . cant wait to see you at dumonde n hardwick matey, take care yoursellf ;)
everyone else - thanks for making this a quality night, i was kinda worried about meeting so many people and giving off the right impression and like that, but everyone who i met off this message board is absolutley fookin sounds as and i wanna thank you all for coming and being so sound.... especially prox and loginZ....... cos they travvelled furthest!!!! :stongue: |

i really hope we can go to GCSSS, we have a slightly better chance now that the loveparade's gonna be cheaper than I thought (car + truck etc)
I'm even willing to skip the pre-party to be able to spend that money on SSS :)
Really depends on the situ, as I'm going to South Africa and me dad's paying the 2300 euros, and I'd feel massively guilty if he knew we were partying while he's paying for me trip to the other end of the world ;)
So if we can find a way to do it as cheap as possible, we might be able to make it and meet u guys again :)
if not.....plzz come to Berlin :) It'll be a killer!!!!!
See mebbe that's the ONLY advantage of crasha going monthly: you guys will have LOADS and LOADs of money to spend on tickets to Berlin!!!!! :) |

| Actually I'm really impressed at how cheap the SSS is gonna be (apart fomr the actual ticket) They've got a whole lot of transport stuff sorted and there's a shuttle to and from Milton Keynes, which if you didn't know is the centre of everywhere:) |

i never thought i'd ever hear that being said...
its not that i disliked his set.. it just didnt seem to flow properly.. it just didnt have that spark for me...
maybe it was just me coz i was in a weird -up all night.. i also had too many drugs, but i couldnt help it coz i only had 3.5/4 hrs sleep the night before... i was shattered before we even left for bham.. if i didnt have that amout i could have died (hehehe)
ah well... who needs speech?
and i have been told i was too quiet in the carpark afterwards.. sorry :p i was contemplating just how fcuked i was... i forgot to dance! next time i shall impress :p |

I was in a weird state that evening to I remember I was energetic at all I just spent the evening like this  LOL. I had spouts of energy during PVDs set, and DJ Scot Project set.
But best part of that evening was meeting my fellow TAs again and meeting the new ones, wicked evening just a pity I don't think I chatted to people as much as I'd liked to.
Either way getting a job hopefully sorted on Monday, and I will be making a trip up to the Republic as soon as I sort out the horrible debts I've got myself into :( .
Either way GCSSS will be wicked and it will be good to see you guys again, and GKGG can't wait for the summer :). |
