don't have testicles, but can i substitute right boob or left boob?

There were so many great parties/nights over the years.

I think Rabbit in the Moon's set from Ultra 2005 when Bunny walked over the crowd in the inflatable hamster ball covered in glow rope. Or their set from Carry-On 2006 (that may or may not have been linked to the fact that i drove to Miami from Boston, and danced for 15 hours straight by the time they went on, so my brain kinda melted from the redbull, dunno how we did that trip sober...)

Honestly i have to say, my first party still rocks it for me. Not because it was the best set i've ever heard, but because of the effect it had on me. I was just a naive kid, excited and scared all at once...

10 years later, I still get excited when i go out. Mind you it's a lot less often, but its all about the drive, getting ready in the car at 80mph with music blaring. Making funny faces at people in other cars on the Pike. Getting the bracelet on your wrist as you can hear the baseline thumping through the walls, you can feel your heart go a little faster as you walk in the door. And then you hit the dancefloor and everything else melts away. Then after its over, you all pile back into the car with smiles on your faces and talk about which track rocked you the most. Hitting up McDonald's for breakfast (or getting a power bar from the Mobil Mart).
You get home, music still ringing in your ears and fall asleep thwumping into your pillow down for the next 10 hours.

Yeah, i am an idealist about it i guess. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does, it just makes me smile thinking about it.

*btwL you know it was armin @ roxy, because it was the first time you met me, and that was when I was smokin hot and you got armin to blow a kiss at me. (meanwhile, I was like, "who is this guy blowing a kiss at me??") lol naive!

most memorable...
Labour of Love '06 (sept. '06) was the first event of it's size that I had been to. Up until then I'd only attended local shows around NYC for the past few years. The lineup seemed endless and what made it so memorable, besides the fact that I got to share it with soooo many of you guys (NYTAs/TOTAs), was that it really helped open my ears to so many different types of music apart from thetrance madness that I was already into. It was my fist time witnessing tons of producers that I'd never heard before, including Alex Rhida, who's not well known, but now one of my favorite DJs. This event kind of stopped me from limiting the types of music I could appreciate. Definitely a memorable one!

favorite party...
Ed Banger Records Party (mar '07) here in NYC was absolutely amazing! I don't think you can ever really recreate the excitement and anticipation you got when you first stepped onto the scene (whatever time that may have been), but this event for me, came closer than any other event. Just about everything knocked my socks off. The music, the crowd, the vibe, all of the dj's in the Ed Banger crew, everything was freaking insane! Definitely a fun night! :D Probably won't ever catch them all in the same show in the US again.

ppl can say all the they want about JP, but his parties in the early 2000's were off the hook. You couldn't find better looking girls anywhere.

my days at Studio 54

For gigs, hard to pick - although not EDM per se, lots of good ones from way back in the day.
Maybe the first time I ever played out, at various freshman orientation events on campus in 1994, even though I didn't know how to mix. And the opening night for a new party at the club Europa in Boston, in September 1996.
In NYC, I'd say the times I spun at Seho and at a Halloween party at the infamous loft - thanks to those who made it possible! Also, a party at Speeed in July 1998.

As for parties that I went to, best weekend was in August 2004 (most of the events were in London)
Wednesday - Tresor in Berlin
Thursday - some drum & bass party in London
Friday - Vandit/Gatecrasher night at Heaven, with Paul van Dyk, Jon O'Bir, Matt Hardwick
Saturday - Creamfields UK, in Liverpool
Sunday - Euphoria at Ministry of Sound, with John 00 Fleming, Matt Darey, Dave Pearce, Adam White, and John Askew

Best weekend in NYC that I can remember is in Apr 2001, both events at Twilo - Paul van Dyk's 2-year anniversary of his residency (which turned out to be his last time playing there), followed by the Twilo 6-year anniversary part, with John Digweed and Danny Tenaglia.

However, there were times when I had week-long "weekends" :p
