Don't laugh...

Real McCoy - Another Night (introduction to "dance music" when I was in 6th grade)
La Bouche - Sweet Dreams (loved the repetitive beats. Still didn't know much about dance music when this came out.)
Funky Green Dogs - Get Fired Up (remember when Hot 97 used to play EDM late night back in the day? I heard "Fired Up" and instantly fell in love)
My first compilation was DJ Micro - Micro-Tech-Mix. ing phenomenal CD if you can still find it.

the first, and only dance music cd I ever bought was Paul Van Dyk - Global...I bought it because of the dvd and the Exit footage.

I was downloading dance music cds back in 2000 though...I had a bunch of "Tunnel Trance Force" cds.
