My first Dance CD was UK House Mix Vol. 1. Bought it in 1998.
Had Brooklyn Bounce - Get Ready To Bounce
Spacefrog - Follow Me, Hypertrophy - Just come Back to Me. And other stuff like that. That marked the beginning of me coming out of my old Wu-Tang/Biggie/2Pac rap stages.

***EDIT*** That was my first compilation CD/Tape.
After reading the thread, I also had Single tape/Cd's:
La Bouche - Sweet Dreams & Be My Lover.
Real Macoy - Another Night
Ace of Base -(all that she wants/The sign/don't turn around)
Robert Miles - Children
Amber - This is Your Night
Jocelyn Enriques - Do You Miss Me
David Morales & the Backyard (something) - Party in the Ghetto
Fire it Up was great too

Does old Spanish House count too? El General and such? And Freestyle too? or is that pretty much 80's pop?
hitokiri
first one was:
robert miles - dreamland
then reight afterward were:
apex twin (cant remember)
prodigy - fat of the land
orbital - brown album
george acosta - awake (back then that was banging)
