Younger siblings that look older than you
View this Thread in Original format

Everyone thinks my younger brother is older than me, in spite of an age difference of exactly 3 years. He's shorter, fatter, grumpier, and a lot more introverted than I am (most of my friends don't even know he exists, whereas I'm friends with most of his friends :D). The same happens with my sister's boyfriend: his brother is 8 years younger than he is, but his brother looks almost twice as old :p

Who else has got a younger "elder brother"?

I’m exaggerating a bit when I say “exactly”: our birthdays are one week apart… but it’s close enough, comparing how many weeks a year has :D

Yea I used to get that a lot when I was like 18 and my sister was 27. She looked about 18 in her late 20’s and I always could pass for like 21/22 when I was a teenager. I always got into clubs and stuff. She’s really short and baby-faced and I always dressed/looked more sophisticated compared to her, not to mention I was much taller, so everyone always thought I was older.

Same. I can go to the theaters and pass for a 15 year old and get a discount. All depends on how my hair is and what I'm wearing I suppose.

Yea she looks very young in the face. Big blue eyes and long eye lashes with a little button nose and round cheeks. She’ll probably stay very youthful looking until she’s in her 60’s. I can’t see her getting wrinkles or anything like that. She’s really over weight and corny though so that makes her look like a typical 30 something year old mom. She just doesn’t really care about her body or her looks. Well, she bitches about it, but does nothing to change it. lol

Thanks Tae:D And yea...u could easily pass for like 21. lol Those damn asian genes...I bet your grandma looks like she's 30 haha

I've got a brother of 18, but he's going through that teenage gothic stage , where he wears as much white make-up to look as haunted as possible, so he never looks older than his age suggests.

When i don't shave I look my age, but when i do i could pass for a 19-20 year old.

I hate being clean-shaven :whip:

my brother is 3 years younger than me, but because he dresses like a high-powered CEO he looks a lot older. he's been dressing like that ever since he was about 16 or 17. i always thought it was so strange that he preferred crisp button downs to t-shirts and black pleated slacks to jeans, but whatever... the boy's got style and i love it!

as RJT and i were driving downtown last night we saw a suit driving a Taurus and RJT says to me "i wonder what it's like to wear cufflinks" and i replied "ask my brother!"

lol my sister's like 3.5 years older than me, and usually people think she's 3 or 4 years younger than me
i'm 21, she's 24
usually people guess i'm 22-23 and she's like 19

cuff links look really nice if you get the right ones. but they can be very expensive. :(
