Moving from home...

Hey what's up guys?

Im finally moving out tommorow from home. Im finishing up my last 2 years of undergrad at a university (UC Riverside) that's about 6 hours away from here. I have been all excited about this for the last 6-7 months, but this week I just realized how much I'm going to miss my family and friends. I have a pretty easy life here, my friends are really cool I don't think I could ever make friends like these. It's hard for me to make friends I really don't know why, maybe it's just hard for me to let people get close? Plus, im really bad at meeting girls too, I'm that shy & insecure type of guy. And my parents, as much as I have told myself I can't wait till I get out of this place to their face, I'am really starting to regret it now. They give me everything I need. I just hope when I move I make it out there in the real world. I don't want to have to depend on my parents anymore for anything. I guess I'm scared. Are these just emotions just toying with me? My stomach is feeling nasty like it's just dropping constantly. I'm not crying or anything, just feel depressive I think, again, maybe scared... This is not the first time I have been on my own, the first time I was living in the same place (LA) but I would come home every weekend, drive about 4-6 hours every weekend. I promised myself and my parents I wouldn't do that this time.

Can you guys give me any tips on what to do? Not miss home so much? Make my new place seem a bit more homey... Im going to be living near my cousin, a girl that attends a school nearby. She also lives on her own. My best friend is moving to San Diego in about 2 months which is only like 1.5 hours away from me, so it won't be so bad on the weekends.

????

if you are moving from Riverside to LA, get a gun

if you are moving from LA to riverside, keep the gun, but put on a Panic@the Disco shirt. If you ever get caught without your shirt, your gonna need that gun

Get yourself involved in activities. If you are just sitting at home alone all the time, you're going to feel ter, and have more time to think about the people you're missing.

Join clubs or something at the school.

That's my suggestion.
