Haha, don't worry; moving out of home is great. The only bitch is having to do all the cooking and cleaning yourself.
Think about all the great you can do now you're without parents.
If you wake up with a half mongrel, no need to stay in bed til it goes away, you can get up and walk around as much as you like. Hell, you can even polish it off in your lounge room without being interrupted if it floats your boat. |

i have moved so many times that moving does not scare me. i can see how you would be scared from not being with your maily. i really dont have this problem either since my parents are gone half the time either way, so im used to it.
you will be ok, not to worry my friend. like clovis said, go with the flow. you will meet new poeople and new friends. |

are you kidding? cooking for yourself is awesome! no more ing brussel sprouts for dinner!!!! :stongue:
if i could (which, technically i guess i can), i'd eat spaghetti every night until i died. lol
cleaning, on the other hand does suck. i hate doing dishes. and not having a dishwashe blows. |

| By the sounds of it, I think you'll become a stronger person who won't depend on parents, and your relationship with your parents will become stronger as you'll start to appreciate them more. Sometimes I wish I moved out too since I've realized that everytime I come home from Uni, I take things for granted and neglect the things which I could do on my own like cooking, laundry or budgeting myself. |

| Parents are great for support but when you move out you realise what you can accomplish on your own. You'll come out better off even if it's hard at first. |

I never ate/eat food I didn't like at home anyway. I'd just say; "I'm not touching this".
I'm guessing you haven't been out of home long though? It took me a while to realise why I kept getting sick and start cooking brussel sprouts and other rabbit food for myself. You can only live on pasta and other vitamin deficient foods for so long.
When I said cooking is a pain in the arse, I meant that the last thing I feel like doing after eight hours at work is spending thirty minutes in the kitchen cooking. I'd rather put my feet up and watch TV. |
