i'm glad argentina won.
i was suprised the U.S. was able to keep argentina on lock down for more than 1/2 the game.
i'm proud of how well they played, and held up really well until they ran out of gas at the end.
but i'm resentful of the thrashing. it puts the U.S. in a really bad position. i wish they would have thrown the U.S. a bone, and left at 2-1. argentina can beat colombia and paraguy, i don't think they need the 4 goals, because i don't think they will lose against either team.
there's still a chance that the U.S. will advance... the columbians are in a much more desparate situation, and they are about to run head first into a brick wall on july 2nd. |

true. they need to start facing real teams, if they want to see their game get better. also, a top self coach would make a difference too. i'm still sad that the U.S. didn't make an offer than peckerman couldn't refuse. |
