What does the DVDJ have to offer that the CDJ does not?

I don't know anything about DJ equipment so please explain like you would to a noob. :D I'm sure most of you saw Sander K either in SF or LA this past week and I'm seeing him in Vegas on Thursday, so I just want to have some knowledge of what to look/hear for when he's spinnin.

Thanks!

So the vids are preloaded on the DVD and they play with the song? Can the DJ mix the vids that are on it as well?

Saw Sander use them a couple years back in Atlanta on the DVJ tour.. was badass... had eaten a chocolate shroom... those vids were the sickness... man, that was definately Sander's prime :D

thats the idea but i saw sander K's assistant in the background with a laptop -- perhaps queuing the videos, using Pioneers DJS software (it does video mixing too, at least the original program its based on does) or just recording the set, i don't know really :conf: :p

The DVJ's are made alot better too. More dependable.

as was said before, dvj's are just like cdj's except they can also play dvd's which means you can control video the same way you would be able to control a cd or a record on a cdj or a turntable.

and i'm sure you need a video mixer for it. i think you're not harnessing its full potential if you're using a normal mixer
