I changed a lot during senior year, and most of the people that I made fun of, didn't really care, and became friends to some extent. |
Well that's good. :)
I think it's really important to make amends, no matter what side of the teasing one's been on. Major step in emotional maturity, imo. |

If only I could go back in time and trust the things my father told me, lol. It's amazing how as a kid, you really think your parents don't what they're talking about.
Well, my dad always disliked my best friend...and as I got older and looked back, I finally appreciated what he saw.
The only reason she kept me as a friend was because she was really insecure (she was overweight and had a really annoying laugh, everyone disliked her). She never did anything major, but she definitely used me to make herself feel better...by making fun of me in front of the cool kids when it was beneficial to her, stuff like that.
I was pretty passive back then, and couldn't see that's why she did it. I always just thought I had done something to make her mad. But I know now that it was because she was jealous of me.
Kids ARE ed. |
Oh man, god I hated when my parents were right about stuff.
Mind you they both are psychologists so i should've listened but....
One girl, i thought they didn't like because she was not in the smart classes... she dropped out and had a baby (two of em before end of H.S)
They were such a poisonous crowd looking back on it. Its funny because a lot of the group are still friends and no one trusts each other still. Some things never change. |

in elementary school i was picked on a lot. my name was a huge source of the teasing (ben gray ;)). alont with my socioeconomic status, my clothes, the car i rode in, the look of the house, being smart etc. you name it they said it. then in jr high it subsided a bit relative to elementary school. it wasnt as bad but it still happened. then i got into high school and i didnt really have much of a problem. it still happened because i was socially inept but it was nowhere near what it was in jrhigh and elementary. by the time i graduated i was cool with everyone. didnt have any problems. was still somewhat socially inept but i had grown up a lot. i did do a bunch of teasing in highschool though. i became somewhat of a dick in highschool with all that . i would tease a certain few kids non stop. they were just so ing annoying and stupid.
oh and this past weekend i was picking on this douchebag that needs some pharma grade meth. he has some serious add/adhd that needs some control! omfg i wanted to tape his mouth shut! mother****** just talks out of his ass all the time and doesnt shut up! |

| I got picked on A LOT. I was short, overweight, and well let's be honest...I'm 'brown'. That left a lot to the imagination. I remember some guy in Jr. High calling me a beaner, I was so confused. I didn't even know what a beaner was :stongue: Not much changed in high school, but I was witty as and just made fun of people back. I got my ass kicked a lot but I didn't take any . Then in 11th-12th grade I lost a bunch of weight and grew like 4 or 5 inches. Now that I was tall, skinny, and armed with a sense of humor only rivaled by that of other short fat kids...I was unstoppable :gsmile: |
