I got picked on in half 7th grade and 8th grade until the "leader" got banned from the school along with a few others. They had been destroying school property and setting things on fire and .
I got picked on because I was the quiet, shy, skinny guy, with a funny last name. I wasn't the only target so it wasn't constant.
The thing that I found most disgusting was that no one never defended me. None of my childhood friends stood up for me, they just laughed like the rest of the class. I realized how weak humans can be in groups and how afraid people are to not be accepted in groups.

lol, some girls in my 4th grade class finally got me to demand Vans and Airwalks from my parents instead of shoes from Target. :stongue: The shoe budget for me increased from 25$ to almost 80$ per pair that year.
God damn stupid kids.

I seemed to get along with most other kids ok, I was never really close to anyone but genial enough to sort of fit in anywhere.
Primary School in the UK wasn't much fun, I did get picked on for my accent and being foreign but I did have some friends I caught the bus with, tough friends who would beat the piss out of anyone :p
Maybe I was lucky in high school, I mean for the most part I really didn't like the people I was going to school with for quite a few reasons but they never bothered me either.
My high school teachers though where appalling.
Up until I was 15, I did well, but after awhile I just lost interest in the vast majority of subjects aside from mathematics and english.
And I started to fail a lot of them.
And I simply didn't care because they didn't interest me in the least.
Some teachers tried to figure out why, most however, just wrote me off or derided me constantly in class, out of class and to the point where I just dumped it all at 17. But against probably their expectations and smugness they didn't break me, in fact they made me basically focus more on what I wanted from life to the point where it became my obsession. And things like knowing the capital of some ancient Roman city or how to work out the velocity of an tennis ball, really just don't damn well matter in the real world if that's not your profession!
I've done alright since.

Was fine throughout primary school. I was quiet and shy most of the time but was never picked on because of it.
In my first High School, I got teased a bit but found out, most of the time, it was out of jealousy. Having a strong number of friends at the time seemed to have helped though.
When I moved to my second High School, I was teased even less. When I was, it was because of my hair. I was the only 3rd Year who had short spiky hair at the time, but after a while, people grew to it and it became the norm. I made a handful of friends afterwards.
There was one girl who I became friends with but after a couple of years, she became jealous and bitchy as I was getting more attention from others due to my artistic talents. She was good at art too but she didn't feel her work was appreciated enough. Tbh, she was quite arrogant and self centred.

I never understood why of ALL the flat chested 12 year olds, I was the only one who got teased for it?? At least I was smarter than most kids my age, because I was laughing at their childish stupidity on the inside.
you have boobs now :conf: I mean, you can be a right tit, but what about the left one Jen?

oooh and jen/ygrene. i just remembered this...
And yeah, I got picked on. firstly by a teacher who was a real **** and jealous that i read at a higher level than him when i was 10, and did maths better than him and liked computers which he said "would never amount to anything" I forsee his deathbed where he needs a computer to save him & it just boots down & runs away!
so then he gave me , people copied him & it carried on. not brill but I got the odd good punch in.

I never got picked on, but this one kid in gym class always used to smack my ass. That was really awkward.
