Writing papers with other people

Is a pain in the ass. Ideas are all over the place. I have the great honor of editting this picasso-like research paper on the war on drugs. My partners are no doubt intelligent, but their writing is hardly past freshman high school level. Its' frustrating, because as soon as it gets to their part of the paper, grammar, cohesion, and flow of ideas go out the window.

Group papers SUCK:whip:

I can't work in teams. Either I get teamed up with idiots or with people who can't keep up. What I used to do was strike a deal with my teammates, they'd each give me like 10 bucks (depending on the lenght of the paper) and I'd do the whole thing and stamp their names on it.

Did none of the guys you used to work with care about learning anything about the subject in question or gaining experience in teamwork?

I now work in teams all the time at my job and the time i spent working in that team at Uni provided some valuable experience for me when i applied for the job.

Like I said I'd get teamed up with idiots. Last I heard they were all failing and dropping out, but hey, I got their money! :)

Ah well, it's a win win for you. You get the job done how you want, get a decent grade, and make the money, that you can then use to celebrate your top score :)

group projects are stupid.
Random ("everyone who said 1 is in group 1, 2 in 2, etc") is the worst because there's always bound to be a douche who just wants to jack off and get the group grade.
Or if you're lucky to be a heavily douched class (art), everyone in your group will be a douchebag jacking each other off and you'll do the group project yourself.
Or if you are lucky enough to be randomized into a completely randomized (and overconfident) group, everyone is clamoring to out-genius each other and fight to be the leader of the group to suck off the teacher's balls.
