Listening right now...bass comes in kinda odd, but sounds good...(hmm i wonder where that synth is from :))...break is nice, and i like the melody :)...piano sounds kinda cheesy, but then the lead comes in to make up for it...buildup rules...and so on...another quality lightworks production :)

Gr8 track m8...keep it comin
Lightworks
thx for the comment mate :)

basslines are updated as requested ;)

cheers !

Wow, nice amount of emotions in that one !

2 Main things:

1) The main synth sounds kinda "Thin" for the melody it gets...
If ye know what I mean.

2) For me it's not your best work because it's just ANOTHER Lightworks quality work... Hoppe you take this as building critisizm, no offense.

I have to agree with oDrori here.
The main melody needs a phat synth :)

A also agree that this isnīt ur best work. I remember the first tune I downloaded from u , canīt remeber what itīs called but I remeber that it was a hell of a tune!

U got the gift u just need to spend more time on ur tunes.
I have a feeling u just spent a day or 2 on this one, right?

Listen to all the "proīs" songs and compare em with ur tracks, try to get the same soundquality.
ie:
Spend more time on effects and stuff, try to use as little reeverb as possible but try to make it sound full and warm at the same time.

I have lots of problems with this my self!
Perfect Effect settings makes a big differance.

Cheers. :)
Lightworks
ok thx for your thoughts robstar :)

hmm well i did spend alot longer on it than just two days to get everything right, but i'll leave it at that... i'm a real amateur at this i know :)

see you later!

well just fill in ANYTHING you want, it doesn't matter what :)

didn't see your topic at first oDrori, cause robstar wrote such a big one :)

I know the main lead is a little thin, but it's to keep the track a little on the mellow side. i'll see if i can add some more things to it, but at the moment i'm pretty tired of working on it :) i'll get back to it if i can sometime later...

cheers, thx for your thoughts :)

I very much agree with that. It is the only thing irking me about Forever - that it sounds a little "videogame"-ish if that makes sense. Just a little though - it is a very good track!

I recommend that you take on robstar's advice and add in a "phat synth" or something that brings out the lower frequencies. That way it will sound *even* better! It would very much be danceable then. Not that it isn't now, but it needs that spark. ;)

Excellent work, man, I hope you take this bit of criticism positively!
