Couldn't that be for obese people as well, just make it their dining room?

Obnoxious , self-righteous, whining little s. My biggest fear is that if I quit smoking, I'll become on of you...Don't take that wrong. I have something to tell you non-smokers that I know for a fact that you don't know, and I feel it's my duty to pass on information at all times. Ready?.......Non-smokers die every day...Enjoy your evening. See, I know that you entertain this eternal life fantasy because you've chosen not to smoke, but let me be the 1st to POP that bubble and bring you hurtling back to reality....You're dead too.

My best-friends father actually died of lung-cancer last week, he was a smoker. My friend is 19 and he has 2 younger sisters 1 of them not even in high-school yet, really really young age to lose your father.

Can't express how much I hate cigarettes.

In 50 years, laws will have been passed to ban smoking in public everywhere (at least in the US) and the old generation (those in their 20s-40s now) will bitch and complain about the old "free" times when they could smoke outside, and everyone else around them will just look at them like they're selfish, crazy, and need to die soon.

Sounds like the description of everyone. Still the non-smokers seem to have a series of logical reason why it's better to not smoke or not bother anyone else who doesn't smoke. It's the exact same concept with loud music: unwanted physiological nuisance.

I don't see why they'd ban smoking outside. At most we'll see laws establishing safe distances to keep away from other people when you do it. And that I wouldn't mind so much.

Already been done in one town in California. It probably won't be an issue in most rural places, but probably will be in suburban areas and definitely in big cities.
