saw lawler on tuesday on the rooftop of vinyl in denver and was pleasantly surprised - if only he'd played like that at vanguard nye.
it was definitely a viva night, but with a lights out flavor to it, kinda hard to describe - not electro as mj would have you think lol. |

He doesnt play much cheesy electro...aside from Aftermath if you wanna call it that. He's just not playing the dirty dirty so often.

he was irritated at ruby skye cause the sound tech didn't loop his laptop through the mixer right. i guess he was trying to record or something. anyway he put a cdj on a trainwrecked 20 second loop which ran for literally 10 minutes before they figured out all the wiring for his setup :toothless
the slide set was definitely darker, but like chad said, still had a viva taste to it. i actually found someone in the crowd who was telling me viva > lights out :wtf: |
