I don't have a myspace so I'll just leave a comment here and you can forward it to him. I think his music is not hip hop but more of that generic southern rap mess you hear everywhere. If he wants to make true hip hop tell him to take notes from these guys:

stevieboy: thanks i will let him know to copy nas' beats instead of trying to create original ones, i know you said it sounds like the generic southern crunk but its good to get real feedback from people...
the first line was a joke :)
addictive global: i told him the same thing and to mix up the sounds he has but he said he wanted them to sound similar in a way, but w/e... we are gonna change the beats once a month, hopefully sooner.... |
