Nah, I know it's definately Dallas too.
Way too many floods, way too many homes lost.

my personal rant is:
The dogs' muddy paws are all over my carpet all over the house when they come in. I keep wanting to clean the carpet, but I know they will just come marching back in from the mud. *sigh*

Having the same problem. Resolve is your friend

main thing is that it takes about 5x as much time finding tracks that work together.

Main thing is you listen in your head 1,2,3,4. Match that 1,2,3,4 to the first 1,2,3,4 such that they are the same tempo. Then use the mixer. Personally I've mixed techno, minimal, house, hip-hop, drum n bass, etc... And I find them all to be just as easy to mix as any other.

yeah, well, I don't, mainly 'cuz the percussion in minimal/techno is more varied than other stuff, and it's slower, which makes the differences more noticeable.

BUT BACK TO THE TOPIC

rain sucks. I just had to stop after 9 holes 'cuz the course was unplayable.

Perhaps there is more syncopation going on, but it is still a very common 4/4 time signature.

So back on topic. The rain sucks because I work outside and it has been seriously limiting my hours. I need to pick up a second job.

Same here. But I only got through seven holes and said 'to hell with this'. Everytime I hit a short iron the ground would splash.

Thank God for rainchecks.
