It could be worse.... like the drought we had a few years ago.

I'll pick a drought over the rain anyday. Droughts = jump weather. Rain...isn't.

i like the abnormally cool weather minus a lot of rain, rain is good but not for 3 weeks straight, effects of la nina.

what i don't understand is how some people die in the floods.
the streets are flooded, why keep going forward.

what, like 15 deaths now in 3 weeks because of the heavy rain.

i'm ok with the rain.
i just can't stand the fecking hot summer in Houston.

Because when they open a flood gate on a lake, it overflows everything downstream at a massive rate. Sometimes, you can't get away from the water fast enough, especially if it's blocking your way out......

I hate, with a passion, the fckn humidity that manifests over this state, especially when it's already like 170 degrees outside. When I went to Cali, it's totally different heat; more of a dryer heat I guess. You do sweat, but not 2 minutes into being in the outdoors.

Houston is like Puerto Rico, except PR is WAY worse. I once took a shower on a hot ass day last summer when I was up there, got outta the bathroom and literally started sweating again. Un-freakin-real!

haha yeah. I moved down here during the summer, and I remember that I couldn't even go outside, 'cuz I felt like I was choking. I almost couldn't breathe 'cuz of the heat/humidity combo. It would be, say, 85 out, and it felt worse than the 100-degree days up in Chicago. I guess I'm used to it now, though.

I feel more concerned about the weather changes now than I did a couple of years back. I'm moving and the rain down here in Austin is getting outta hand, it's been like 2 days without or very little sun.

It comes and goes but it's driving me nuts and moving has become a nightmare.
