Fair enough, but that hardly has anything to do with the topic, does it.

anyway, the engine is the same as in the technics.

plus the blue led makes it much more conveinient too.
the price range is same for technics and for the numarks so they both really are quality.

all down to personal preference...

No it's not... who told you that?

You can get your blue LED's on 1200 M5G's too :)

Who really cares? All three are like $500 tables, you'll be fine with any of them. Technics aren't infalible.

man, the guy who posted "technics or food" was pretty much on the money. IMO stantons are the alternative if you dont have the money to spend for technics. Personally iv gone with Stantons in past, And my new deck on its way is yet another Stanton. Why? Because a)I have other things to pay for aswell b)I dont feel i need a technics (And most of my mixing is on CDs now anyway

But most importantly c)My previous stantons NEVER had a problem. The only reason i am buying new ones is because i had to sell my old ones for traveling overseas.

Stantons are solid, Yet affordable.

Technics can be given to your grandchildren and still be as good as the day you brought them.

Actually, the Stanton ST-150's cost MORE than 1200's. They weigh like 40lbs each. They are really, really nice decks. A modern design.

Who cares... I have 3 ST-150's because I prefer using them, when I play out though I wouldnt expect to see a pair, the reality is there not the standard because Tech's have surefooted themselves as that, and vinyl is not played much these days anyway so I doubt if any turntable will ever knock the tech off the perch.

I have a good friends that has both 1200 mkIIs and stantons (I forget which model). Anyways the Stantons have a higher torque motor which has a more solid feel, as a result they apparently don't last as long, especially with scratching.
