Because burning an american flag and defamating your president is considered freedom of speech. As extreme as it may sound, I find these things to be treason.

Hell no, theres probably millions of factors that affect global warming, and we could be one of them, along with all the universal changes in space... Im sick of people trying to point fingers at someone else. STFU and do something that will actually get energy conservation to happen. This is an issue that goes far beyond our government, this is something involves the world as a whole, all the governments around the planet need to pool their information, scientists should work together, funding should be global based, not individually based.

wow
sounds like you should have watched live earth.

Listen we on the right should embrace thsi movement, whether we agree or not with teh relities of global warming, we should integrate this into the War on terror, because dependence is fueling radical islam, soon gas prices will be $4 dollars a gallon. Yes Edwards and Gore are crazy for thinkin the environmenmt is the greatest threat to our existence, totally not recognizing terrorism, but we cant let this be hijacked by the left, whats good for the environment sis good for everyone, and if we do away with gas/petro, we do away with dictatorships in Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Venezuala and the like, so even though im not fully on board, I awlays think when we can help others we help ourselves, and as being the party of religion, we have a responsiblity to preseve plants and animals because its life, and we are the pro life party

someone mentioned about gov't being the issue and i dont really think the gov't has to do much about the earth, but more precisely us! yea europe is way more advanced then us thats cause they fkin think with their heads. we got people here, for ex., with houses that have cathedral ceilings...for what ??? to use up more energy to heat/cool the place up...yea nice waste energy! another ex., hummers n ?? for whaaaaaa? are we having a civil war, gas is at record highs n u have a hummer to fill wasting mad petroleum...this may sound like little things but its these little things that are huge factors on how it effects our way of living! ppl in europe are conservative, thats why theyve been advancing in every aspect. years back ppl swore the dollar currency would never be bilittled by any other type of currency but today in day not only the euro but several other currencies have passed the dollar value. this country is polluted with uneccessary , thats all im trying to say!

I was watching, and one idea they proposed was for hotels to not wash towels after every single use.

The problem is as much our own fault for buying it, as it is the government allowing it. But the people driving hummers and unloading wallets full of money for gas, are the same rich s that are trying to promote a greener way of life.

Bloomberg is moving in a good direction when he said that all cabbies by 2012 will be environmentally efficient and up to greener standards.

Bloomberg is the man....he's the only politician that finds a medium between what he wants and what the people want.
