I don't care if it's 4 months away. I'm that excited for this, and I feel like talking about it. So start making plans, and discuss. |

Girl Talk was at one of the frat parties on my campus back in May. The vibe was surprisingly good for a frat party, but GIRL TALK WAS TERRIBLE. Unless your idea of a good time is listening to top 40's rap being mashed up very very badly, I'd stay away.
I have no idea about the other two, though. |

hahaha. his stuff isn't the most amazing in the world (at least not anymore...his first two albums were great), but it should still be fun. If you really can't stand any rap, you need to lighten up a bit.
Daedelus > both of them, though. That's the main reason I'm so excited about it. |

Frat parties = girls and booze, no? ;)
If i wanted to hear top 40's mashed up, as in The Beach Boys with 50 Cent (please oblige), i rather go to a club down here on 6th street and get drunk with dry martinis and jacks. What do you say?
Chris Fortier next week, at least there's gonna be some quality music out there.

A lot of good rap exists. You shouldn't spread ignorant viewpoints like this; it's a stereotype that people will accept just because they can't be bothered looking past the genre's commerical representation to find the good stuff. I agree that most rap that is played over the radio and on MTV and shit went to hell a long time ago, but at the same time you have producers like Blue Sky Black Death and Jedi Mind Tricks who, I think, stay true to the hip hop style and continue to push the envelope. |

because you don't have to be in evaluation mode 24/7. It's ok to not have an aneurysm if you hear simplistic music or dumb lyrics, or, God forbid, even have fun. You won't die. |
