‘GLOW-Washington D.C.’ MOVES TO NEW SUPER CLUB ‘IBIZA’
Saturdays, Weekly starting July 14th 2007
Panorama Productions’ weekly Saturday night event GLOW will now be hosted at the new DC nightclub Ibiza, starting Saturday July 14th and every Saturday thereafter. Super club Ibiza, is a stunning $6 million dollar venue that features a $1 million dollar Martin light and sound system, can hold up to 3000 people and is an ideal home for one of the biggest and longest running electronica events in America.
Since it’s inception in 2000 by Antonis Karagounis and Pete Kalamoutsos, GLOW has been on the cutting edge of dance music in America. Residents and frequent guests over the years include Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, David Guetta, Sander Kleinenberg and Deep Dish to name a few. Antonis Karagounis explains, “The sound of Glow was unique. We wanted to bring underground dance music to a sophisticated, international crowd that is abundant in D.C.”. Over the last 10 years, Panorama Productions has hosted the successful weekly Saturday night Glow party at such legendary DC nightclubs as Zei, Insomnia and most recently Fur. Starting Saturday July 14th, Glow will begin another chapter at the brand new Ibiza Nightclub.
Ibiza Nightclub is located at 1222 1st Street N.E. Washington D.C.
Full DJ lineups to be announced in the coming days at www.clubglow.com .

| Which main dance floor is bigger?? Fur's or Ibiza's???? This is kind of important..especially when the bigger Djs like Ferry or Armin are booked. |

| Thank god...I hated Fur. Part of the reason I never come to DC anymore. Hopefully this place is better. Although I wish it was moved back to Insomnia.....I might just come check this place out. |

| I parked about a block or so down in the parking lot. $10. Means we'll have to walk a tad bit farther. |

Hey Brian! Unfortunately...Insomnia was demolished two summers ago. Where Insomnia once stood is now a parking garage. At any rate...I'm glad to know that GLOW will no longer be at FUR!
If all the great things I've heard so far about Ibiza are true (e.g. beautiful venue, great sound and light system)...this means that GLOW will be an even better party!
:D
Cheers!
Mario A.
P.S. Brian...let me know next time you're back in DC! |

It may be a nice venue... but the surrounding area is still a f**king hole, and I doubt I'll go down there unless someone else drives. My car, and about 10 others on the same street got broken into last time I was at Glow... windows smashed out.
The worst part is that we were parked next to a goddam police station... and the cops who were writing the reports apathetically said, "...well... yeah... this happens a lot here..." ACROSS FROM THEIR F**KING STATION! Pieces of .
Anywho, let it serve as a warning to anybody parking around Ibiza or Fur that this is going on. Note: there was nothing visible in the car - my gf's wallet and cell were stolen out of the glove box, and my ipod was take out of a closed dash compartment, not to mention the $hundreds it cost to replace the window. |

| welcome to DC, just ur average hoboz at work. We got robbed in that area few years back too. not much - $40... still sucked... decided not to come there anymore - not worth the hassle and risk, considering that Insomnia/Fur had such awful bouncers who ruined so many otherwise fun nights. Just d!cks. |
