This is what I got in my email today from Groovetickets.com
Hi Groovetickets customers,
I’m very sorry to inform you that Markus Shultz @ Dallas on July 21st has been cancelled. While there will hopefully be a rescheduled show, we will refund the total face value of your ticket order. Please allow up to five business days for the credit to appear on your banking statement. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

well I emailed Markus, himself, knowing I probably wouldn't get a reply.
But I got a swift response saying he doesn't know why it was cancelled, but he was just told it was cancelled.
JeremyWord posted on DDM saying that they are rescheduling him and Crystal Method this coming fall. But he didn't get a reason either. I'm guessing it was a money issue. |

um, well I've heard lot of live sets from him, and they have all kicked ass, except his set at ASOT 300. So I'm not gonna take your word on that ;) |

That's part of the reason. It was partly political too. Nothing Markus did or had control over though.
As for not missing much, you're out of your freaking mind. Markus never disappoints. Besides, it won't be stuff from 2002 even though those tracks probably just now hit Canada or where ever the hell you're from. If you kept up with what's new in EDM, you would know this is his Progressions tour and he will be playing mostly tracks from his new artist album, which I've listened to about 100 time since I got it early last week. |

OK, now I'm pissed. This is the only upcoming show I was looking forward to that I know about this year. WTF!?!?!?
And Crystal Method postponed their US tour, so that is probably why the Dallas show has been postponed. |
