there's a lot of places that claim to have "NY style" pizza, yet they fail miserably at it. there's a few places in Wisconsin that have it, but only one of them does it right.
the biggest thing is the crust. it's thin and crispy and the pizza is cut into slices that are huge triangles... yet you should be able to hold it with one hand without having the crust sagging down. lots of people fold it in half, but that doesnt mean that the crust needs to be soggy or soft.

I agree with with Myra
wtf Domino's claimed to have "NY style pizza" or Brooklyn style w/e and that was gross!!! Prob the worst pizza I've ever had.
If you want REAL NY pizza take your ass to NY & get.

yeah, i think NY style pizza was kind of "invented" by all the Italians that settled in NY.
the pizza i had at the airport in Milan was almost identical to the pizza served at my favorite NY pizza place (Napoli's in Shrub Oak, NY) which is run/owned by 2 old Italian guys. |
