I get what ur saying with it just being a word, but thats just the thing people use it as though it is "just a word" when there are so many other ways and words to use to describe someone of a culture. Nowadays I am shocked when I hear people just throw in an N-bomb to describe a black guy; likes its no big deal. |

very common word here unfortunately.
I have managed to teach some of my friends atleast the difference between certain cultures. Now when they use it freely, it is more of a joke than anything else.
I don't have a problem with it being used in humour...ignorance is annoying however. |
