You know whats really hard even for me being brown is to figure out sikh people's gender thru their names e.g:-
Mandeep,sandeep,kulvir,parminder and many more they can be both male and female names.

Im not sure ....to be honest,I think you could tell by last name (not sure)....Specially if your calling someone over the phone and how some people who have a very confusing voice and you cant tell if its a male or female and offend them by say Sir to a lady or Maam LOL to dood.
