Flirting or friendly?

This is a difficult one, my darling AJ. One that doesn't have a simple answer because girls play games (not me) so you can never really tell.
A couple of subtle ways to tell if there is attraction are;
Touching - a skim of the arm as she is telling you a story
Eye contact - is she looking into your eyes?
Other than that, you're screwed for a foolproof plan because it doesn't exist. Watch how she talks to other people, does she save a certain look for you? Is she attentive?
At the end of the day, I would say ask anyway - you don't ask, you don't get :)

if she is just being friendly, the squeeze will pretty much end that. (who needs a friend anyway).
if she is interested, she'll still be pissed/weirded out, but probably forgive you, then you know your good (and you've jumped to second base).

Seriously though, there is NO SURE FIRE WAY of knowing. NO specific advice anyone gives you applies to every woman. They are all different, they just SEEM to have a few things in common.
Just assume they all want you until you hear otherwise, that way you won't miss out. Rejection hurts the ego, but nothing is worse than inaction. You can't score if you don't shoot.
And... isn't not knowing but going for it half the fun ????

I know a lot of people who are just 'wicked' flirts. So this doesn't apply all the time. I swear some girls I know take the flirting very far, you'd be hard pressed to believe they aren't interested but really, they just like to flirt. |
