...exactly what we thought too (even if some ppl already knew anyway), especially because sheila and steven (_and_ every other assistant) should not have deserved anykind of a kindergarden drama on their party as a reward for their whole efforts. but i think the wiser man gives in, not up. (;)) thats why so much the better for the invitation and "force" for next year/trip... :)

| i'm still in recovery atm, but i definitely want to give a big thanks to steven and sheila for hosting this event, as well as everyone else who helped make this happen. the setup was awesome and the music was superb, both up front, and out on the decks. it was great meeting everyone. Wish I could've stayed longer. There was a lot I didn't get a chance to say while I was still sober enough to say it :wtf: I'll be looking forward to the next one! |

it was more like 6:45am when they came out.

haha was it 7am?! all i know is that i opened my eyes for one second that morning, he was lookin at the ARMIN thread and saying, "wow, no one went, it looked like only 200 people were THERE!!" he must have saw me look his way cuz he was like, "look LYSS!" (im freakin BLINDDD in the morning from sleep and cuz im nearsighted) from then on i soo could *NOT* fall back asleep. lol.

But it is what it is. This was a chill party with friends that was to be relaxed and go with the flow, which it was. I am sure no one was intending to be rude to you guys but it did feel one sided as to what was played (IMO) and I think we all felt that everyone was down with each other and would respect that other people wanted to hear other music as well as other people wanted to get on the decks. Patrick I could complain that Jay didn't get on the decks until Sunday morning and he was one of the first ones there or that he stayed up until 4:00 AM the night before practicing his set for everyone, but what’s the point he did get to play at some point in time to a small group of friends. Some of the DJ's that came don't get to spin out much further then their basement or backyard and were excited to play at an AWESOME spot for all the friends and some new people and it upset them cause they felt the chance was taken away from them. Please try and look at it from everyone's point of view, I think that for the most part everyone understood about the situation and it really should be kept behind closed doors going further. Why ruin a great weekend with something so trivial. We can't go back in time and change the past we can only learn from it for next year. |
We'll learn from this and Tae and Myself are plotting the next one already....Next year there will be no ing about building stuff cos it will all be done already....The house will be completed and so will the bar....
It was a pleasure to have you all...I couldn't believe how tidy the garden was when I took the dog out on Monday..Thanx guys...
What killed the Sunday was the fact that the cops showed up and the neighbors were pissed...There was not one complaint on Friday and Saturday yet there were four on sunday..Also people decided to go to the beach and then John Brown cut his foot and that put Tae and Akko out of action....And obviously I was sick in bed...Oh and the generator had no gas.... |
