How helpful are the waveform displays on the CD Decks you guys have?

How do you use them?

can usually just feel when the next phrase is coming easywithout it

Helps if you don't know the tune you're playing, so you have general idea when when the break is coming and whatnot.

Helps if you like doing like 3 min transitions.

Helps if you like doing little tricks and such (overlaying clips from an another tune on top of current tune playing and such)

I find waveform display of incredible help.

Some tracks have tricky structures so when you first play those tracks its helpfull to have that waveform

I've got to admit that I've become too dependent on my waveform display, to the point where I feel lost when using my mates 800's.

I find it extremely useful, not for phrasing (as that's just a natural thing) but knowing when little drops are coming up etc

Although in the long run, I know that this will go against me as it makes you a little lazy when having to remember ya tracks.
Zild
I never use it for anything.

This is what I intend to use it for when I play live on CDJ1000s, but seeing that I've just got 800s at home I've never got into the habit of reading it

I've got 800s but I sometimes use the waveforms on Torq for tracks I'm not as familiar with.

+1 when I'm on Traktor

I find myself a bit sad when I'm spinning on my CDJ-700s ;)
