I dunno about you guys, but that tracklist looks hawt. Yeah its alot of stuff we know, but it's alot of really GOOD stuff we know. |
I'm not denying that. It's chock full of great music...just heard some of those soooooooo many times by now. That may not be the point, but I'd still like it to be more of a surprise. The idea that because the formula for the last two has been somewhat similar that it's ok if this one does the same is kind of funny, imo, especially since it seems like the stuff on this TL is already less obscure than the stuff on those was when they came out, and we've got another 2 months left for this thing to grow some mold before release. |

Sure it's a lot of stuff that he's been playing for a while now, and some oldies, but thats not the point. If you know Digweed, you know that a 60 minute set of his is not as good as a 3 hour set of him because he takes his time to build it up. The point of this CD (I believe) is that he's going to compress those 3 hours into 78 minutes without skipping a beat, and will keep us on the edge of our seats throughout the whole thing.
The tracks on this compilation won't be they way we've heard them before. It will be layers upon layers of beautiful music that will please everyones ears, even those who have been doubting his movement.
John's current direction is definitely going the right way (more now than ever) towards a more chunkier, heavier, darker feeling. A ride you don't want to miss out on.
T3 will be the best yet. |

| Maybe this will be the one that does it for me. Quite interested in the Digweed/Muir produciton, too. |

It reached a point where it seemed better suited to an album, so hit upon the idea of marrying it with T3 as a way of giving something back to our fans." |

I think the tracklisting is definitely a strange one for Digweed.
Still on the fence on this - looking forward to hearing it, but keeping my expectations low. |

I'm just glad someone has used that Daniela Stickroth tune on a mix comp, cause I love it. |

The second disc is a CD-ROM with the 25 min track John & Nick made....as well as unseen video footage of his Mayan gig in LA....from June 06.
Cheers...thought maybe some of you LA freaks would like to know! |
