Looks like our little summer hiatus from throwing parties didn't last. I liked Rebel so much that I decided to test the waters there. Not enough decent Saturday night parties in town these days. So, figured I'd team up with 1Love again and have a bunch of our friends spin. I promise that our event will have the A/C pumping on the main floor! ;) Here's the event info:

ALEX PEARCE (on Three CDJs and a Digital Sampler):
Alex Pearce loves house music. His ability to read the vibe of the crowd and build his sets accordingly has made him the hottest new DJ to come out of NYC in 2007. His signature style is a charged mix of electro and house music that takes the crowd on a journey that is down right dirty. His live sets create a unified sound meant to “challenge the audience’s ear and make the crowd want to dance their ass off.” Having earned the right to rock a crowd while DJing along side the likes of Sander Kleinenberg, Seb Fontaine, Behrouz and more no other DJ can deliver “planet disco” to the dance floor like Alex. Period. It is one of the reasons why he’s regularly asked to play at some of the best clubs and venues that NYC has to offer – from Crobar, to Cielo, to Pacha, to the villages’ trendiest house music crawls; Sullivan Room, Le Souk and 205... Turning his attention to the studio in ’07 Alex has a string of original tracks due for release over the next couple of months. Stay tuned…

| The top floor of this place is so much better than both the main floor and side room. Hopefully the promoters will start putting the good djs up there. Good to see Alex headlining, he killed it at Sander. |
