yes the (former TA BBQ)BLOCK PARTY, same as last year
yes I believe she is in the VA/DC now but i dont think it was any situation on her part...I hope everything is sorted out and that BOTH Nat and Graham will be at the party. |

yes block party = bbq = one and the same. lol sall good. they did SUCH a great job last year in organizing it. |

from what i've heard they are in the washington dc area but are trying to make it back up to canada...ask kelly that's where i get my info |

Last time I talked to Nat, she said that Block Party was still on as she plans on returning to Toronto before LoL.
This is my plan for that weekend.
Sat: TOTA BBQ/Block Party all day
Sun afternoon: Sean Miller and Jeff Button (a TOTA DJ) @ The Next Level, the Docks from 5pm to 10pm
Sun night: Labour of Love.
Looking forward to meeting a lot of you NYTAs :) |

Went last year, but probably won't go this time around. The music and the whole venue in general was top notch. Same could be said for the Djs. However, there were a few things that are making me think twice about going again. I'm kinda upset that I missed 880% of Digweed's set.
First of all, the place was wayyyy overcrowded and moving around the club was a nightmare.
Second, certain people piss me off. Especially those ugly meat heads that walked around the club without shirts. I don't know how many times I bumped into one of those sweaty s. And they were all dressed the same with those little gray caps that all douches wear.
Third, our car got broken into. As we arrived to the parking lot after LoL at about 8am, we saw that one of the doors was wide open. We had our passports, wallets stolen. I was enraged and I would seriously break those s' hands. Toronto PD sucked ass too. They refused to send a cop, even though the station is like a block away. We went there and filed reports, but of course, the cops are useless as usual. |

Nat can reveal her own info, because its her own business, but hopefully she can work out any issues she is having and return to canada, hubby in tow!! :) friggin people need to leave those two alone and let them live where they want dammit! They are both in Ireland right now :) I hope they can make it back, not only the party, but for their own sanity and peace of mind. I wish them all the luck and know that the system is a big fat bitch right now for them :(
anyways: word on the street (ok the toronto forums) is that the lineup will be announced this week. I will keep the first page updated as is released. :) |
