Parking tickets at the LCBO???

| As I'm sure some of you may have noticed after the Menno De Jong show on Saturday, the parking cops nailed all the cars parked at the LCBO. Now I have examined the tickets and they are ligit city tickets but I'm wondering, is this the first time they have blitzed the parking lot or is it just a random thing?? Also some good information to know. If they screw up the car make or the plate number you can take that yellow piece of and spit on it cause you will not be charged, I know this from experience. I have been parking at the LCBO for 5 years now without any problems so I was VERY surprised when I saw a sea of yellow tickets...at first I thought they were more flyers. Anyways please feel free to comment on this. |

I played at gallery on a friday once, then came back at 3am and im the ONLY car in that parking lot. I was tin my pants thinking i got a ticket. got lucky. Park at the $5 lot just on the other side of the gardner on lower jarvis (Across from the golden griddle)

Yea i was pissed because there is little in ways of signs indicating where the boundaries for the free parking ends and the staff parking begins.
i guess we could appeal it or whatever but it, i'll just go on a stake out at the LCBO parking lot this sat and egg the ticket guy.

how many of us have been parking there for yeaaaaaaaaaars for free?!?!
it was a known thing, free parking at the LCBO.

it's never been free, you've just gotten lucky for that long
besides that, how many horror stories do you have to hear about people getting their cars broken into there before you stop?
and he's just doing his job, if it bothers you THAT much, go egg city hall - they're getting your 30 bucks, not him |

i wouldn't actually go through with something like that!!i would but that's not the point. just have a good time on these forums don't start getting all mommy and daddy for me, .
i'm pretty sure i wouldn't be where i am right now (good student, good citizen and wicked ping pong player) by egging poor civic workers.

Our friends car got broken into at Menno...all the car doors were open, hood was popped up and the trunk was open!

wow they actually ticketed it?!
I used to always park their...and never got a ticket...
for the record..ive switched spots recently...
if you keep driving down, past government, where the dealership (mazda?) is...you can aprk in the alley and its pretty chilled...good for a predrink and never had any problems :toocool: |
