so i went down to visit my gf's family this weekend and it was her mom's bday. this is what she got for her 47th bday.........
and she let me take it for a spin.......... boy does that car like to be driven.......
so i did what any normal person would do while driving a high end sports car.... i went to tim hortons drive thru. |

how do you consider giving somebody annual insurance payments and car maintenance costs, not to mention having to fend against all the crazy drivers on the road, the "best bday present ever"?

her mom got new back tires for it this weekend.... grand total for two tires mounted and balanced......1600 bucks :eyespop:
the insurance is only 1250 a year..... its less than i pay for my ford focus...
now mind you if it were my car and i had to insure it... my broker would just laugh at me |

yea i know. usually when a chick gets a porsche as a gift, it's the boxter...that's why i was impressed. |

had it been me buying the porsche, alexa would have gotten a boxer and i would have gotten the carrera GT.... LOL
her dad drives it alot too esp on weekends so i think it might have been one of those "ill buy you a present that i get to play with" gifts.... |

its not that easy.....

obviously i'd take it:p
a girlfriend of mine has a really nice boxter actually. a silver convertable. it's nice, we went to lunch together one day so i got to drive in it. but yea, i'd rather have a carerra. |
