Everybody did a good job in The Departed.
Great movie, definitely one of the best action-drama types in recent years. |

I'm stumped. When he was speaking english w/ the commander (the scene after the leader won't let Leo see the commander, takes Leo's cig and blows the smoke back in his face. Leo upset with the quality of diamonds the commander gives, commander then gives Leo diamonds out of tin can, etc.) why the heavy accent? I mean, the commander was even speaking English, too. Just over the top and unnecessary, I think.
And the accent at that point was much different than it had been throughout the entire movie. It was just distracting. Of course not distracting enough to overpower the quality of the film, tho. |

I dont think one was better than the other. Maybe one was but i enjoyed both. They were both A+ movies. |

The Departed is awesome. Blood Diamond, very good as well.
DiCaprio is actually a pretty good actor despite some of the terrible roles he has played in the past. Some of his latest offerings have redeemed himself in my eyes at least. |

| DiCaprio is one of the finest actors of our time. I never rated him at all before when he was the pin up boy for 12 year old girls but now that he's a mature actor with movies like The Departed, Blood Diamond, Catch me if you can, he's going places. |
