Any way, when is the line-up being announced? 48 hours my ass... Government seems to be having the biggest problems with their line-ups in the 8 years I've been paying attention. Global--- Viva was a JOKE. No straight answers. Please get your together! We expect so much more from a "top 10 world club"! I've been to everything from guv, to buzz, any NYC club in the last 8 years... to Asia, Europe, Russia, etc. Guv has been slipping for some time. Be the GLOBAL player you used to be!!! Please Guv... solve your problems. Give us the notice you used to... the notice we deserve. Help us fill your capacity! We used to get so much respect. Your line-ups were incredible, now they are crap and held too long. People used to drive 250-400 miles to see you and yours. Your too big not to be a destination. Lose the travelers who can not get this in their home town and you will turn to . Bring in some new talent, you're boring. Armin is tradition, he sucks, yet... I respect him. He's OK to close. How bout wowing the crowd with your superior taste and trendiniss and cutting-edge-line-up? It's worth a shot... Toronto is one of the most enlightened cities I have ever been to. Try catering to them. You will get better results, and actually not look like whores for once. Bring some new music, announce it early, watch the money flow in! Win+Win....

(---->pissed Guv sucked for 2007, Missed so many good times cause the line-up was , boring, or not worth the drive. Missing the awesome 1998-2004 line-ups, pure class, theatrics, and quality... BTW Mark Oliver your still solid)

Actually, no i don't. The comma doesn't have to be there.
What you are referring to is an Oxford comma, which is placed after the final 'and' in a list of more than two things.
However, this doesn't even apply in the above example as the list contains only 2 things. |

Another boring lineup by Guv :(!!! someone really has to let these guys know there are million other djs that they can bring into their events.I honestly think this is a huge waste of money and nothing exciting.

so far only 4 djs have been confirmed (well 5, but have no idea who the Cassanova guy is).
I agree that most of all the DJs will probably be DJs that have been here in the last year, but I'd wait till the lineup is 100% confirmed before passing judgment!
There is just a lot of speculation on these based on prior event dates! |

Start thinking about who normally comes to Guv and who hasn't been here yet.....that is where the answer to your questions lay.
Junkie XL still has one more stop at guv for the year.
Would like to see DJ Irene do an all access night instead of another headliner night....she normally has two stops at guv every year and she has used one of those up already.
Personally, I would like to see Guv Room be a hard house room for the night and bring the likes of Irene, Lisa Lashes, Lady Dana there....make it a Diva night in Guv....that would be sweet. |
