How strict is the Guv't when it comes to ID?
The only photo ID I have at the moment is an expired drives license that looks nothing like me anymore. I have an old-style health card, no passport, and to get any kind of ID - I need to get my birth certificate first which got lost in my last move (so in short: I have 0 form of valid photo ID).
I rarely get carded going into other clubs/bars or the LCBO/Beer Store. I'm 24, almost 25, look well over 19, but on the other hand - the other day I did get carded at The Beer Store for the 1st time in ages, and she refused my ID and wouldn't serve me. |

Guv staff ID's pretty much *everyone*
Not too long ago, for one of the big events, I left my ID in another jacket by accident. I was 32 at the time. While I don't look 32, I sure as f**k don't look 18. They still made me go home and get my ID.
Fortunately, I live closeby and got them to agree to let me go to the front of the line when I returned. |

They'll Card you. I've always been carded. I'm only 22, but I definitely don't look younger than 19...
But for liablity issues, i'm sure the bouncers are required to ID anyone that looks under 30. One slip up (ie. under age problem) and that could spell a disaster for the club as i'm sure there's lots of pressure to get rid of all clubs |

Hrmm, wonder if they will take issue with my license being expired then. *grumble*, as it'll be pretty much impossible for me to get a valid guv't issued photo-ID before LOL right now. Take a few weeks to get the birth certificate, then gotta go write my beginners again - then a few weeks to get the photo ID from that, pah!
Meh, worse comes to worse I'll pawn off my ticket in line if I can't get in - but still, would suck if they wont let me in because of my ID.
(Yeah yeah, I should of dealt with this ages ago -- but its never been an issue until well, now..) |

| not only do they check your id for age purposes but also for identification if say you were to get hurt, get alcohol poisoning, or something like that. |

Maybe if you bring your expired Driver's License w/ the new Paper license they'll accept that? It shows that its been re-newed...
Either way...you got a few weeks get on it ASAP |

| and this all falls back to the problem of me having lost my birth certificate in my last move.... need that to renew my DL. |

| I have used my DL which was expried before. But if had that sticker from the minestry that said VALID PHOTO ID. |
