Yeh, I'm not a big fan of albums with more than 10 tracks...Salvador ftw!

the actual salvador release was put out by frisbee may 06..

NOTE:Compilation of tracks released between 1998 and 2001 on Frisbee Tracks, contains a remastered version of 'Belle Epoque'. Track 8 was originally released on Multicolor Recordings in 2002 and is marked as Bonustrack.

I think it's cool someone's taking a different approach to the fabric series. They almost never fail me and theres almost always the most forward thinking deejays' and artists putting out quality work, I expect this to be no different.

That is with the exceptions of Spank Rock and Luke Slater...wasn't a huge fan...

It is good to see a compilation in this series where you don't know what to expect from the tracks, well at least I havent heard any of them anyway. Villalobos never fails to disappoint, should be a cracker.

This might need a rephrase.

True, meant to put impress obviously. I'm sure some would probably prefer the original statement though.

Only his tracks is a bit meh imo. He could have made something original and personnal with "normal" tracks. Balance 005 is timeless imo for instance.

fabric came to him 3-4 years ago to do something for them, let him do it how ever he wants.

Ill take a proper concept with his own productions (am i fan of his production work, most are not) over some regular mix whose tracks will be whored to death by every wanna-be dj, internet/bedroom dj, my grandmother, and every joe.

He has a striking resemblance to me when I'm out at clubs. That's why I'm currently grounded from them. :p
