good stream audio probably not...a very good internet connection would be required to transfer that without interruption/buffering

This might make everything complex, but you can do an audio stream only straight off the mixer, as long as there's a server to host the stream.

I think Dan Armstrong can provide the server space. Hopefully we can make this happen. Will have to get all the tech-heads together on this one.

looks like this is becoming Nat's and Graham's international BBQ
did Graham invite his friends from Ireland to this event?
if the sound quality is good they can party to the tunes of TOTA dj's!

Getting the feed from the desk to the computer is the easy part.

For a live stream the audio quality won't be great...the compression ratio req'd to get it down the pipe is too high. We can stream it and record the feed for later, depending. What connectivity do we have access to?

Have you used it with any success? What is the compression level? What is your evaluation of the sound quality?

I used to live-stream sets all the time.

No crazyness required, your cable connection/dsl will be fine to upload an audio stream to 2hp. As for a video stream, what are we talking about here? Doing a webcam chat with no audio is possible with something as simple as MSN or Skype. Mind you only one person can watch, but I figured that's fine, it's for Graham, the rest of the world can just listen.
