| How is Film Lounge these days? I went about 4 years ago and it seemed like a popular afterhours place. Is it still around? What are the hours? |

As far as I know
- it is still around
- opens around 11 or 10 but most ppl go there late
- last time I went was last year in the summer time and it was good tunes and busy
- just passed by there this weekend around 1:30am on sunday and it seemed busy as there were about a dozen smokers outside having a cig |

| I asked this question about Film a few weeks ago and no one i knew could tell me whether it's open or not....the deko-ze/sydney crew are not still playing there, are they? |

Ya it's still around ,Jayforce is the resident Dj and they recently had a Dj contest to find a new talent. It was about 3 months ago and my freind participated in the competetion and became runner-up.
As far as I know JJ is still promoting film lounge.
Film lounge has lost its populartity since the departure of big names such deko-ze addy and sydney blu. However it can make a comeback in future if they find some new talents. But to be honest I never liked the venue. |

FILM is popular in its own right because it has a good following of patrons. I know many of them because the FILM crwod also frequents CZ.
It's simmilar to Sonic in the sense that it opens at 1am and serves no alcohol. The music is good, but not great. It's majority electro, which can be hard to take at times.
The decore is nice, but not great as well. I say that it is a step up from CZ, but no where close to polish of Guv.
Final verdict: not bad. With the right people any club can be a great time. |
