You guys forget that Brian usually has a Media/Photo pass from Made to bring his camera in, just like Pete...I wouldn't risk bringing anything that big in IMO...bring in something smaller. |

I didnt have any problems for the past 2 years bringing the brick, but that mightve changed. I was able to bring the dslr to avb last year but not this year, without the pass. Sucks. |

i think its 8pm again, performance then signing (like for Tiesto) -- i could have sworn it all used to start much earlier in the past :(

yeah true, i just got excited about the possibility since there was talk on the board. haha. and also if it rains, i wouldnt want to bring it in :( i do have my SONY. VIDEOS!!! :crazy: |

I guess it all depends on the size of the camera and who is at the door at the time....depending on how far you travel would determine if you should bring such a large camera....you don't wanna have to go back to Queens or some just for a camera...you'd miss the whole show |

This is pretty much next weekend!
My friend and I are staying by 3rd ave & 51st st. Its walking distance to Time Square, Grand Central and of course Central Park! :D What location in Central Park is PvD being held anyway? I want to get an idea off google maps.
For dSLRs, I'm going to try and bring my dLSR as its a small Rebel XT anyway. Hopefully, security doesnt make a big deal. I know at Daft Punk here in SF they almost took it away but told them its not a professional camera :p
phoenixBEBE is there a meet up for Friday before PvD or are most heading to Thrillseekers? I had a blast on the last day of my previous LA trip thanks to LATAs so I need to bump into NYTAs :p |

Fifth Avenue At the 69th St Entrance To Central Park (this is what i got when I googled it.)
as for meetups, im sure theres one being attempted but im not 100% sure. One's always attempted every year but somehow we just all end up finding each other, either by the entrance/sitting on benches, or just by the stage, front and center. :D in 2004, i recall a group of us somehow *right* outside Rumsey Playfield (inside Central Park by the road/bike path), now *THAT* was a coincidence. :D walked by and there were just TAs sitting on the guardrails. I even met ppl who were non-TAs but turned out to be friends of friends. haha.
most ARE heading to Thrillseekers/Locals at LOVE :D <-- no one is gonna miss this for sure.
what time are you heading over to Central Park? im probably getting there around 5-5:30pm since im heading there straight from work, might leave 30 min earlier.
yes Rebel XTs *are* small as long as the lens isn't on the camera. ;) |

| thanks! that entrance is very close to where im staying! I'm actually going Saturday for PvD, not Friday (i'll be sightseeing and wandering around this day) so hope to see you at Thrillseekers :D |
