Uhhh and WTF is up with this Sodomy Pedicures thing in your avatar? Molly I am slow sometimes so you have permission to slap some sense into me :D |
It's my friend Jessica's one-woman show that's playing at the Fringe theater festival from Aug 15th to the 25th. It's funny as hell. Figured I should help her with marketing. |

Haha, go to the website that's under the sodomy picture... It's actually not what you think it is, it's a show :P
We could all go to that on Thurs, then PVD Friday and the afterparty, then PVD on Saturday and the afterparty! And then Molly can take care of all our funerals. |
Yes! Go see it! |

I'm flying in from the MidWest, pathetic Cincinnati, for the Saturday show and I need a few questions answered...
What time does PVD usually go on? Who is opening for him? Where is Saturday's After Party and who might it be?
I'm staying at the cheapest but closest place I could find, the Newton Hotel for $160, 3 blocks away... how bad is it really? First time in NYC, keeping it cheap, flying stand-by for $45 round-trip! I just need a roof, A/C and a hot shower... have any better suggestion on where to stay?

Sorry can't help with the hotel situation as i live here and have never stayed at a hotel in the area. But i imagine that you're not coming to NYC for the hotel. That said, paying a little extra may certainly go a long way. There are a few things in life you shouldn't be cheap with, and a place to stay is one of them.

try hostels instead of hotels
if not, try staying near the airports (JFK, Laguardia) |

If I remember correctly, last year it was from 6-10pm. He didn't come on until a little after 6.
No one is opening for him.
Saturday's after party is at Rebel (251 West 30th St. If you want to keep it cheap take the C Train from 72nd St. to 34th St.-Penn Station or meet up with a TA that's going that way to make it easier for you. Cabs are effective but can be expensive. It would cost atleast $10 to get there as opposed to $2 on the subway) Perry O'Neil and Victor Dinaire are playing that night along with a couple of locals.
Hope this helps. |

I think it is worth the 2$ train ride to stay somewhere in Queens for half price ;) |
