My point was that this is a trance msgboard about music discussion, so with that perspective in mind a Tiesto video (perhaps unfortunately) should always trump a thread about external hardrives or gym socks (FOR EXAMPLE!) lol

Of Course Jon, I just thought you were saying that those posts didnt belong at all. Its a community of sorts I guess, so the posts dont have to just be about music I think there are specialized threads and sections for that no? I am not a huge Ta'er so to speak, but I think everyone has free rein over the boards.
I see other threads blocked or cut off so that means the admins have the right to control but these other posts dont get cut off, why, because it doesnt break any rules. To each his own, all I am saying is that if you don't like it just don't open the threads or just don't post in em.
I personally think he is going a bit overboard with the shameless self promotion but he is getting somewhere and is proud of what hes done, let him be. It almost seems like jealousy, dont take it the wrong way, but who really cares, your a great DJ, do your thing, bitching just makes people look like poor sports. Who knows maybe you will need his help one day? |

I can see why you're confused, let me explain: Jeff quoted a rant I went on last year regarding a handful of douchebags who were using the board as their personal ad space. Jeff took it personally and retired from TA, only to be posting again I think the next day. lol Fast forward to today where I think Deadmau5 posting a video of Tiesto playing his song isn't promotion at all, he doesn't need to promote to TOTA FFS. Jeff then called me on said thread from last year confused as to why my opinons have changed, but of course the question is null & void :)
