| The only good reality show, in my opinion, is Deadliest Catch. It's not a lame competition for false love, a competition to win a job at some restaurant, and nobody is competing for a record contract and fans that will forget about them in one years time. All it does is show what they do at their job, and it's ing nuts. |

| best reality show i've ever seen was a series produced by the bbc on becoming a spy. i only saw the first three episodes but was thrilled by it. anyone recall the name? |

| Future Weapons is pretty cool too...but I guess that verges on being a documentary. Ex Navy Seal gets to shoot all sorts of crazy new weapons. |

| Dunno if they would be considered "reality" but Extreme Homemakeover and Shaq's Big Challenge both have positive outcomes. That guy on Extreme Homemakeover (dunno his name, don't watch the show) has helped lots of people who needed either a home, or a modifcation to their home because of someone's disability or financial need. Shaq's Big Challenge helped six obese kids loose weight and get in shape. And he is trying to help more kids do the same. |

I'm a Big Brother 8 (CBS) fanatic... the show comes on once a year and i seriously can not stop thinking about it... all my TV watching revolves around it... if its not tues, thurs, or sunday night then i dont even bother watching TV and when i was painting my apartment the other night all i could think about was Big Brother and the scenerios...
There has never been a show with more back stabbing, scandal, deciet, shock, and holy factor that ive ever seen... and Gasp!!! dare i even say its better than Amazing Race.. yes.. it is...
And the first 5 seasons of Survivor i was absolutly gluded to... for the same reasons, but Big Brother has taken that whole level of game play to a new notch b/c survivor was about surviving the elemetns... well who cares.. its all abotu mental game play which BB totally captures...
i can go on... It just pisses me off that they only show it once a year, but is in ingenious how its live and on 3 times a week during the lull of the summer.. |
