bahahaha-- exactly what i said to my friend at work today upon reading it--
i hate the herald sun: they ran a full page (if you exclude the large adds), on how drug-fkd kryal was- there were actually 2 articles... :mad:
i believe both articles included multiple quotes from a "forum" which i assume is ITM- sterling journalism there... :whip: :whip:
oh well, with a front page that's just pictures of people crying over dead kids, i guess anybody who takes the paper seriously is below any intelligent person's concern. |

A police raid on a dance party at a medieval tourist attraction near Ballarat in central Victoria caused the overdose of 14 young people, a drug users' association has claimed.
The head of drug users organisation VIVAIDS, Damon Brogan, blamed police for the mass overdose, saying rave-goers swallowed their drug stashes rather than risk arrest as police with sniffer dogs entered the party.
He told a News Limited newspaper the arrival of more than 70 police at the rave party was "over-zealous".
"Confronted with such a police presence, some individuals are tempted to unwisely consume all their drugs in one go, rather than throw them away or risk arrest," Mr Brogan said.
"If police operations are increasing the risk of death and harm in the community, perhaps it is time to rethink."

Interesting indeed - I was suprised to see the dogs come into the castle, watching people either bolt to the corners, or just take all their goodies. Maraks lollies were the best tho :D |

Not that I know of Mandi but Beyer and Liberator were both the highlight for me. JOOF was also really good and PVD was well ... PVD!!! :D :D

Set of the night for me was Joel Mull in the techno temple, really nice groovy techno. Caught the first 15 minutes of Shpongle and loved it, Dorset Perception was awesome!
Adam Beyer was great, although for me he didn't quite change things up enough or maybe it was just the total lack of any interaction. Still really enjoyed his set, especially Perc - Sticklebrick.
Bart was decent, played some big crowd pleasers - did he play Madagascar or was that Trent McDermott?
Although PvD may have been in a bad mood, I thought his set was great and PvD - Let Go (Vandit Mix) dominated. If only he wasn't delayed! It was also a bit of an anti-climax when McDermott chucked on some average tune no one cared for to end on after he just played As the rush comes, or maybe that was just me.
Crowd was a bit intimidating at the start but got better as the night went on. Drinks prices were as was the sound in the Interview room. I was in there for 10 minutes during Steve Strangis's set and my ears were ed, far too much top end. |

Didnt end up heading there in the end. Seems a missed a lot of action.
I'm pretty disappointed at the reporting from Herald Sun. But some kids really need to pull their heads in (like a turtle). |
