I think he was making a statement, not asking a question. |
I know what he was trying to do, but it doesn't really matter. His sentence was in question form, so regardless of the statement he was making, it should have ended with the correct punctuation. |

In the English language, people end questions end with something called a question mark (aka interrogation point). |
Generally, statements that end with a question mark are spoken with an interrogative inflection; they'll almost certainly be sub-vocalised that way. Sarcastic, rhetorical questions often aren't, however, so a period expresses the intent much better than a question mark would have.
Also, might I point out that this is an internet forum. While there's no excuse for terrible spelling or sentence structure (which actually makes the material much more difficult to read and understand), there is such a thing as "informal writing", and even the English prescriptivists are well aware of it. The main purpose of informal writing is to provide a conversational tone, which formal writing doesn't do. Sentence fragments, use of "their" instead of "he/she", or (gasp) the use of italicized or boldface text to accent a word - those things are all acceptable and expected in informal writing.
So I very much appreciate the lesson, but I assure you, even your English teacher would tell you to loosen up. |

outdoor events ftw.
wether it be big outdoor festivals, to an outdoor venue liek aqua at pride, beach events or parties areas that you wouldn't normally expect a party to happen, the parkinglot beer gardens at pride to the Dance arena at Folsom Fair North ( under the conservatory Dome at the Allen Gardens, always a wikkid good time) |

Outdoor parties/concerts are always better IFFFF the weather is good.
Love the complaints about smoke, smoking, carcinogens, dirty air, vices, habits and all other things people love to whine about.
The complaint about smoking ie:
"I'll damage my ears, my brain, heart and liver....but please god don't hurt my lungs"
.....is null, because parties HAVE whether you like it or not...alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and loud music...its all part of the terrain. |

What about those of us who don't smoke, don't do drugs, don't drink heavily, and wear earplugs? |

maybe it's my old age gettin' to me, but i am 100% for daytime parties. whether it's the dock's sunday afternoons, boat cruises, festivals, beaches, whatever. i can't remember the last time i did an all nighter. you can party just as hard at a daytime or evening event, but you don't destroy your sleeping schedule, and you aren't a wreck at work until wednesday.
this is not to say that i hate all night parties, but i just can't do it as much anymore. |
